Atentiv at the Learning & the Brain® Conference
Learning & the Brain® (www.learningandthebrain.com) brings neuroscientists and educators together to explore new research on the brain and learning and its implications for education. These conferences and summer institutes bring cutting-edge neuroscience and educational research directly from the researchers themselves to educators, clinicians, counselors, speech-language and special education professionals to improve their practice.
At this year’s conference in San Francisco, February 13-15, 2014, more than 1,000 neuroscientists, educators, educational researchers and parents are gathering for the theme “Teaching Self-Aware Minds: Using Brain Science to Boost Social and Emotional Skills”. The conference is an appropriate setting to spotlight Atentiv and its new generation of personalized digital tools for learning.
Data from Atentiv’s school study are being presented, which show a reversal of the core symptoms of inattention and inhibition, as well as grade-level improvements in academic performance as assessed by objective, well-validated measures. Among the conference highlights:
- Edward M. Hallowell, M.D. is delivering a keynote address on Friday, February 14, at 10:30 a.m., on Understanding Your Child’s Brain: A Guide to Enhance Happiness, Mastery and Confidence to the gathering of 1,000+ attendees. In that presentation, Dr. Hallowell will summarize the interim results of Atentiv’s school study. Dr. Hallowell is an advisor to Atentiv.
- Atentiv will present data from its studies of the product in Poster Sessions, on Friday February 14 and Saturday February 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- Atentiv will have an Exhibit Table where visitors can learn more about the product.
